Rubber Duck Theatre started in 2006 to stage imaginative, innovative theatre for all ages. Our first show, an adaptation of Roald Dahl's Fantastic Mr Fox, won awards and acclaim at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and since our shows have entertained children and adults alike. Our four directors and thirty-odd company members, past and present, have produced 5-star shows that cover children's theatre, comedy, drama and musicals.

In August 2008 Rubber Duck will be returning to the Edinburgh Fringe with a revival of its Songs for a New World production and a new kids play, How Does the Kanga-roo?, both to be performed with C Venues, 30th July- 25th August 2008.
Rubber Duck's last production was a new play adapted from Czech mythology: Prophetess Libuše and other Czech Fairytales -
A refreshing deviation from the usual, worn-out fairytales
- The Yorker.
